I’ve been in the recruiting field for over 20 years. After starting my first career as a corporate M&A attorney, I soon realized I enjoyed the business development and client relationship aspects far more than the minutia of document review and contract negotiation.
After a brief stint trading bond and Dow futures at the Chicago Board of Trade and then working with Paine Weber, I joined one of the largest recruiting firms in the country. Two years later I started my own recruiting business in October 2001 focusing on both legal and wealth management recruiting and haven’t looked back since.
I’m married to the love of my life, Jennifer. We have two amazing sons, Will and Ryan. Having lived in New York, Montreal, Toronto and Chicago, we now live outside of Raleigh, NC with our two dogs, two cats, and a former race horse turned eventer. When I’m not helping advisors find their happy place, I’m probably towing a horse trailer to some remote part of the country. When I actually find some free time, I like embarrassing myself on the golf course or just unwinding at our favorite beach.
